2012 Electric Rate Increase
For the first time since 2009, SIEC must increase its electric rates by an average of 9.22 percent. The rate increase goes into effect for members' usage in February, and will be seen on bills due in March. (1) "Customer Charge" terminology has been changed to read "Facility Charge"
(2) New line item called an Environmental/Regulatory Compliance Charge
